Ireland won the last ODI aganst Zimbabwe and taken some good positives out of the three match ODI series which they lost 2-1 after losing the first and the second ODI match of the series, However they end the series well on a winning note.

Batting first Zimbabwe was struggling and lost his first two wickets on 7 runs and in just 4 overs. Sean Williams was the highest run maker from the Zimbabwe side as he made a total of 51 runs from 69 balls which Include 8 fours. Sikandar Raza was onother Half centurian as he made a total of 50 runs from 56 balls witch include 4 fours and a massive six. Ireland’s bowling was good as Tim Murtagh took 4 wickets from his 10 overs after conceding 32 runs.

Chasing a small target of 188 runs Ireland lost the wicket of William Porterfeild in the 7th over when ireland was on 31. Paul Stirling was the highest run run getter from the Ireland team as he completed his Half Century and made 50 off 92 balls. Andy McBrine and Tim Murtagh took the Ireland team to Victory as they went not out on 14 ans 19 runs respectively.
Zimabwe however gave a good fight to the Ireland team as they took 8 wickets from the Irish innings. Taurai Muzarabani, Wellington Masakadza and Mutombodzi took 2 wickets each while Luke Jongwe took a wicket.
