Former Australian leg spinner Shane Warne is exited to create History with a joint venture with Indian crikiting legend Sachin Tendulkar in the “All Stars Cricket Series” he also talked about thecritisim about the age of the players and tickets prices.
This tournament will have two teams of retiered players some even as old as 52, will play 3 Twenty20s in New York, Los Angeles and Houston. However Former Australian captain Ian Chappell critisized the decision and said that he always think why players retire is to stop playing Cricket and said that the other thing he cant understand is why will people like to see older Cricketers.
He added the thing that at the end of Warne’s contract with Melbourne stars he was struggling in the field and he added that it is natural with any person who is in his 40’s , he also explained that the back strts giving plobrems and taking catches will become not so easy as it was earlier, this all make one realise what he is an Old Cricketer.
While Warne replied to all this as dissapointing things from Chappell’s side and said that he thought Chappell must have seen the bigger picture behind the series as it was about spreading the games globally. He added that There are a lot of people in America who havn’t seen there Idol’s playing, by this they all get a chance to do so.
When the talk about the price of ticket started it says that major of the tickets are from $50-$175 in New York and Houston. He said that the price is reasonable as they are calling some pretty big names of DJ’s are coming, they have Cheerleaders which adds to the cost.
However warne aknowledge the weather as an issue as in november there is quite cold and even last year there was a snowfall in november which can create a major plobrem during the series.
