Former Srilankan Test Cricketer and galle pitch curator is Discahrged from his duties of galle cricket stadium. He will not be the pitch curator for the galle test between Srilanka and West Indies test match. He was discharged from his duties for missing a meeting with ICC’s Anti Corruption Unit (ACU). However national curator B.A. Janaka Samarth has been asked to look over the preperations of the first test between Sri lanka and West Indies test witch will begin from October 14.

A newspaper says that ICC has asked Sri Lanka cricket for anupcoming investigation for match fixing activities but Warnaweeras absence made it hard for the Anti Corruption Unit (ACU). To proceed further for Enquiry, the officials will meet with Srilankan Cricket chief and will have a meeting made it hard for the Anti Corruption Unit (ACU) to proceed further for the enquiry. Last week , Warnaweera resigned from his post as a member of intrim comitee because of the involvement of many members of the executive comittee of SLC in previous administration.
