N. Srinivasan is now strictely handled by the Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) as he is now will not be able to attend any of the Board meetings and cant participate in any of the BCCI related activities.
BCCI under its Newly Elected President Shashank Manohar is very strict on N Shrinivasan. BCCI informed the supreme court that it will not allow Srinivasan to participate any of the BCCI activities
“Srinivasan stands disqualified from participating in the working committee meetings or any other meeting of the board as he still has commercial interest in the management of IPL T20 team Chennai Super Kings.” said K K Venugopal
While Srinivasan’s laywer Kapil Sibbal said that “BCCI has passed no resolution to bar Srinivasan from attending the meetings of the board, BCCI is a significant organization and it should not wash dirty linen in public. Parties should sit together, resolve differences and find a solution,” he added.
While the court is out of the Issue as it sai that it is not ment as an opinion juristriction for BCCI. it also added that if Srinivasan thinks that BCCI’s decison to stop him from attending BCCI related activities he has all the leagal procejures for that. “The appropriate court will examine whether the conflict of interest, which he suffered earlier, has been appropriately erased by transfer of his shares in CSK to a trust. After examining this, the concerned court will return a finding,” The court Added.
