Kohli Breaks Ganguly’s Record


Virat Kohli made his 23rd ODI century in the Do or Die match in the series for India and helped India to level the series on 2-2 with a game to go and the last game being the decider of the series it will be important for the Indian team.

After hiting the century after 8 months Kohli moved to his 23rd ODI century and game past Sourav Ganguly record of 22 ODI century and is now behind Tendulkar with 49 centuries in ODI cricket from India. He is now 5th from all time century scores list in ODI cricket the list is topped by Sachin and includer Legende such as Sangahora and others.

Sourav Ganguly said that it was previously known that the batsman will reach this mark he added that the way Kohli was batting from a couple of years, it was quite clear that he will clear his mark of 22 ODI centuries. He didn’t seen Virats inning said he would had say anything about it.

Virat played this innings very potiently he started off well and took some time to settle down then he played his shots he was been on the every opportunity of taking single and was rotating the stike continously he was building partnerships as he made a 127 run partnership with Raina and also shared an nice partnership with Ajayanka Rahane. He highlight of his innings was the din from which he reached from 95 to 107 and completed his 23rd ODI century.
