The 5th ODI which was the decider for the Paytm freedom services between India and South Africa went South Africa’s way as they made the last game just one sided and India were never in the game right from the start of the innings.
Batting first South Africa made a mammath total of 438 runs at a loss of 4 wickets. Wankhede was full of fours and sixes as South Africa batsman was unstoppable for Indian bowlers. Three of the South Africa batsman De-Keck, De Villers and De-Plessas got centuries. Opener De-kock made a total of 109 runs from 87 balls with 17 fours and a sin Du Plessis who came in at no. 3 was the highest run scorer with 133 runs Devillers made 119 runs.
India bowlers were two experience and were not effective as they didn’t got much wicket also while batting second India chasing a target of 439 was seeming impossible as the pressure of required run rate was asking big shots which were at the end leading to wickets. Indian team lose wickets at regular wickets. Ajankaya Rahane and Shibbar Dhawan were only player who crossed the 50 run made Rahane made 87 while Dhawan made 10 runs.
Ragis Rabada got 4 wickets while Dale Sleyn got 3 wickets. Imran Fahir also got two wickets towards the end while Byle Abbot got the crucial wicket of Rohit Sharma.
