Agar: ‘I really enjoyed the first wicket I got. The second one was a lucky one, but as a bowler, you get them from time to time. It was a good pitch to bowl on, it was turning and some of the balls were gripping a lot more as well. Sometimes, you have to be a little bit faster as well, like on this wicket. I am not worried about my spot. It’s a good team to be a part of. Overall, I am happy with my performance and hopefully, I can continue my good form.’
Khawaja: ‘Very happy with the performance. I don’t think the heat is the reason to rotate the players. Even if we were in England, we would have liked to give everyone an opportunity.’
Chand: ‘I think we might have been (when asked if India A were a spinner short), the wicket was turning quite a bit. We were 20-30 short. I think 270 might have been a good total. We kept losing wickets at regular intervals which is why we could not dominate them. Ashton Agar bowled really well. We need to think about what we need to do against South Africa. We will have a day’s rest now.’
