England vs Australia 3rd test day 3
England won the 3rd ashes test match as they beat Australia by 8 wickets and lead the three match test series.
When the third day started it was looking that the match will end in a session as Australia was in a second innings lead of just 24 runs but thanks to the half centuries from Peter Nevill and Mitchell Starc which took Australia to a respectable total of 265.
However, David warner was the highest run getter from the Australian side as he made 77 runs from just 62 balls.
Five of the six top order batsman Chris Rojers, Steven Smith, Michael Clarke, Adam voges and Mitchell Marsh were not even able to even cross the ten run mark.
After Andersons Six wicket Hawl it was Stevn finn in the Second Innings who too grabbed 6 wicket for 79 runs.
Seven Smith, Michael Clarke, Adam Voges, Mitchell Marsh, Peter Nevill and Mitchell Johnson were the six wicket taken by Steven Finn.
Steven Finn was the man of the match for his outstanding bowling as got 8 wickets in the match out of which 2 came from the first innings.
Chasing down a small target of 121 runs Englad managed it quite easily with the help of Bell’s half century and a 38 run contibution from Joe Root
