CSK & RR Suspended For 2 Years From IPL after Being Scandal – Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals Banned


The team franchises of CSK And RR are Banned And Serve with severe punishments dolled out for Raj Kundra Jaipur IPL Pvt Ltd and Gurunath Meiyappan an India Cements Owner who were banned for life Time from all BCCI cricket Related activities.

Raj Kundra and Gurunath Meiyappan are the persons who were also found engagged in betting activities during IPL 2013
have brought the game to disrepute in addition to their
betting misdemeanors.

The Lodha panel a landmark judgement was appointed
by the Supreme Court of India to suspend the owners of IPL
franchises Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) for a
period of 2 years to be found in connection with bookies for betting and
spot-fixing scandals in the IPL. This Breaks the IPL
rules that Made the franchisee to be punished for betting activites.

The Banning of the team franchises followed by
the severe punishment to Raj Kundra a owner of Jaipur IPL Pvt Ltd and Gurunath Meiyappan of India Cements were banned for life long from all BCCI related activities. Raj Kundra and Gurunath Meiyappan, who were Found Guilty in betting activities during IPL 2013 were said to have brought the game to disrepute.

that is suspended,We thought that cricket is bigger than
individuals and then the financial loss to players and franchises is not of

He also said that “The Conflict of interest questions have been raised, once we complete the process of interacting with all the stakeholders, we will take a view on that.That exercise is not complete. This order is confined to determining the quantum of punishment to the two individuals and the franchises,” wheares “We have interacted with 40-45 people, we are yet to meet a few others. Once that is done we will decide what guidelines are to be given. Our idea is to get inputs from all stakeholders. It is not confined to cricket administrators and politicians,” he added.

Conclusion and aspects of the news: The IPL Committe came to  a decision that IPL Can’t be played with 6 teams as a contract is signed for a minimum ofc matches in IPL, Which is not Possib le with 6 Teams, However the is no decision made yet in refrence to Introduction of New Teams or Emergences of CSK and RR with New owners and the Old Teams like Kochi Tuskers Kerala (KTK) or Pune Warriors India (PWI) Can be Bought Back Who were Suspended Previously From IPL.
