The fifth Match between South Africa A and Australia A of the Tri Series between India A, Sri Lanka A and Australia A is won by Australia A by 108 runs as they beat South Africa A.
Batting First Australia A made a total of 272 runs. Australia A made this total at a loss of 10 wickets thanks to the century contribution of 130 runs of 106 balls, his century involve 9 fours and 7 sixes, Peter Hombscomb too suported him with his 52 runs of 62 balls.
South Africa A got 2 early break through in form of Travis Head and Joe Burns as they fall on 0 and 11 runs respectively while Sean Abbott and Chris Lynn got starts but was not able to survive on the crease much, six batsman was not able to even touch the 10 run mark.
Lonwabo Tsotobe was pick of the bowlers as he got three wickets, while Hardus Vijoen, Beuran Hendricks, Dean Elgar got two wickets each. Delport too bowled 3 overs and got 1 wicket.
The best patnership of 68 runs was between the best performers of which were Matthew Wade and Peter Handscomb respectively.
In the second innings, In reply to the target of 273 South Africa A found it two hard to achive and fell 108 run short. Openers Hendrics and Delport however got starts but was unable survive. South Africa suffered wickets on consecutive balls as firstly Delport was out on 12 as he was caught on 12 by Gurinder Sandhu on Coulter-nile’s ball.

Then he bowled Theunis de Bruyn on his very next ball but was unable to achive his hatrick, Opener Reeza Hendrics was Run Out by Head with his brilliant throw.
Skipper Dean Elgar was the highest run getter as he scored 64 runs of 85 balls, Khayelihle Zondo too suported with his contribution of 47 runs of 50 balls.
None other batsman was not even able to survive at the crease, While Australian bowlers Comeron Boyce and Ashton Agar got 3 wickets each. Nathan Coulter-Nile also got two wickets and was most economical as he just gave away 8 runs of 7 overs he bowled and helped Australia A to sequre Another win and its place in the finals.
