2nd Innings: Having to chase a monstrous target to qualify for the next round, Zimbabwean had a disappointed start. With a required runrate of 9.35, the Zimbabwean batsmen were scoring at a rate of 6 per over. Losing wickets on one side, they limited their chances of the Super-10 group of ICC World T20.
At the end of 10 overs, Zimbabwe had the score of 58/4, and required runrate of 13 per over. The innings just continued stumbling, as each batsman struggled to face Afghanistan’s spinners. They ended their innings at 127/10 in 19.4 overs and got ruled out by Afghanistan from the qualifiers of ICC T20 World Cup 2016.
As Zimbabwe bowled out for 127/10, Afghanistan won the match by 59 runs.
