3 Ranji teams got bonus points from Round 2


Mumbai, Delhi and Assam were in a good touch as all the three teams strikes bonus points in the second round of the ongoing Ranji season. Both Assam and Delhi are from group a making the competition more tougher in the group for the other teams while Mumbai is from Group B

The Gautam Gambhir led Delhi side won by 10 wickets and gain the bonus point agianst Vidarbha Batting first the Vidarbha side was not able to face Indian seamer Ishant Sharma as he took 6 wickets and given away just 36 runs from his 23 overs, However delhi was also bowled out for 302 and took just a 1st innings run lead of 4 runs. But in the second innings, Delhi was bowled out for just 98 runs because of some supreme bowling fom the delhi side as it three of there bowlers took 3 wicket each Witch were Pradeep Sangwan, Manan Sharma and Ishant Sharma at the end chasing a total of just 94 runs was so easy as both the openers Gambhir and Chand took delhi to the victory

In Group A match punjab was bowled out for 154 in the first Innings and Mumbai gave a strong reply by declaring its first innings on 569 with 8 wickets down in just 124 overs and gain a crucial 1st innings lead of 415 runs and bowled out Punjab for 403 in his second innings. Hence Mumbai won by an innings and 12 runs.

While it was Assam who beat Rajsthan very Easily by an innings and 12 runs Rajsthan batting first he made 186 runs in 1st innings Rajsthan made 422 runs and get a first innings lead of 236. Chasing a target of 237 Rajsthan was bowled out for 84 runs and lost the match by an innings and 152 runs.
